The American Miniature Mule Society is a newly created organization dedicated solely to miniature mules and their breeders. Its purpose is to create a registry for miniature mules and provide a way to bring together miniature mule breeders and other miniature mule enthusiasts online and off.

The miniature mule's popularity is growing in leaps and bounds throughout the U.S. and beyond. I have had so many people ask me about them and how to go about finding one that I thought a site would be very helpful to all that are interested. I also feel that the miniature mule deserves its own registry to recognize its parentage and pedigree even though they can not breed themselves. There are a lot of breeders with wonderfully pedigreed miniature horses and donkeys that are now producing top-quality miniature mules. Mules that are registered with both the ADMS (American Donkey & Mule Society) and American Miniature Mule Society will be considered double registered. The fee for registering your miniature mules with the AMMS is $15.00 per mule. There is a Class A and a Class B in this registry. Class A are miniature mules under 38". Class B are miniature mules under 48". Please send in your heights with your registration applications.

To become a member, all that is required is a simple donation of $20.00 U.S. which will help cover the fees incurred maintaining this site and keeping the registry going. What you get in return is a membership certificate and a listing in the Miniature Mule Breeders Directory sorted by state. Your listing will include your farm name, website address if you have one and all contact information. You don't have to own a miniature mule to become a member. For instance, if you are a miniature horse breeder and have miniature mares for sale to folks interested in breeding for miniature mules, this is a great way to advertise your mares. Same for breeders of miniature jacks. The American Miniature Mule Society encourages breeding well-conformed, pedigreed horses and donkeys to produce quality miniature mules. Miniature mules deserve a traceable pedigree, too! If you have a miniature jack that will breed miniature mares, this is a great place to offer him out for stud service since not all people may want to purchase a jack just to get their mares in foal with miniature mules.

If you don't have a web site, for just $30.00 a one page layout to showcase your farm or ranch on this site will be created for you that will include your photos, tell about your farm and list miniature mules you currently have for sale or the mules you simply own. Even if you already have an existing web site, a one page layout on this site can give your farm an even more valuable presence on the net. You can view an example here.
